NeuroGraduate Summer School in Cognitive Neuroscience: 6th - 9th July 2026
Join us for the second edition of the NeuroGrad+ Summer School in Cognitive Neuroscience, held in the vibrant city of Lyon!
Running from the 6th to the 9th of July, the NeuroGrad+ Summer School offers a unique blend of lectures, hands-on workshops, and social activities, all focused on open science, data analysis, and experimental design in cognitive neuroscience. Participants will learn essential skills to deploy behavioral experiments in the lab or on the web (Javascript), simulate and analyze data (Python), and deal with concurrent data streams (physiology, neuroimaging, etc.). They will also have the opportunity to discover emerging approaches combining cognitive science with computer vision, virtual reality and AI oriented towards clinical and real-life applications. The program includes talks, practical sessions, visits, complimentary meals and social activities. Students for whom computational modeling is relevant are encouraged to participate in the final day dedicated to advanced behavioural analysis.
Designed for students completing 3rd-year Bachelor, Master 1 or Master 2, the school welcomes international participants, providing an inclusive environment where both beginners and advanced learners can thrive.
We will select 12-16 students (about 50% international) based on their CV and their letter of interest. The selection committee will promote candidates whose scientific interests and ongoing projects align with the scope of the school.
The event is entirely FREE and we will award up to 6 travel grants to foreign students, covering accommodation and transportation.
